What is The Meaning of F Mode for The Gimbal?

The half-follow mode is suitable for gimbal movement in the horizontal direction. If you want to shoot in the vertical direction, you need to use the full-follow mode, that is F mode.

In F mode, the pan axis and tilt axis will be switched to the following state, and the roll axis is locked. In this way, you can control the following of left or right, and up or down directions. This mode is most commonly used to shoot shots when the character appears on the scene, for example, the pan shooting from the sky to the character or moving from the sky then pan to the character, can use the full follow mode.

What is The Meaning of PF Mode for The Gimbal?

PF means half-following mode, the state of the gimbal's pan axis will be in follow state, and the other two axes remain locked. Because the pan axis controls the horizontal movement of the gimbal, after changing to the follow state, the mobile phone lens will follow the movement of the gimbal handle in the horizontal direction, and can realize some gimbal movement such as orbit shooting or pan shooting.

What is The Meaning of L Mode for The Gimbal?

L mode is the most basic shooting mode of the gimbal, it is also called full lock mode. In the full lock mode, the three axes of the gimbal are locked. At this time, no matter how the handle is rotated, the direction of the phone lens will not change. When the object you want to shoot is in one direction, such as the common Dolly in & out, straight tracking, low-angle follow, Hitchcock zoom, large-range time-lapse photography, etc., can all choose Lock mode.
